We here at Pico have a special place in our hearts for rescued mutts. Our resident pitt bull mix/lovebug/sausage rocket, Katers was herself adopted. So, when we saw that The Paw'd Squad (rescuers of this cute little mug shown above) is having a bowling fundraising event we had to mention it.

Tickets are $300 per lane: for bowling, shoe rental and two games for up to 5 bowlers ($60 each)

I'm not a huge pit fan, but that dog is crazy adorable. Too bad it has a bite of 2000 pounds per square inch and can accidentally sever my arm while playing catch.
